Installing the Print Driver
Hint! You MUST install the PosterPrinter™ System print drivers
prior to installing the GalaRio™ 2 application. DO NOT change
the name of any PosterPrinter™ Systems in your PC prior to
installing the GalaRio™ 2 application. Once you have installed
both the drivers and the application, you can rename your
printers.
Before you begin the installation procedure, close all open
applications and disable all anti-virus software on your PC.
The GalaRio™ application and the VisiMate™ System print driver are
shipped on a single CD-ROM. A standard Windows® setup wizard
guides you through the installation procedure.If you began the
VisiMate™ System print driver installation, the system asks you for
port information for your printer. You will select a port on the Choose
Printer Port dialog box:

If you are using a serial connection, select the serial port from the list
of ports, then click Configure Port. Follow the on-screen
instructions and the documentation that accompanied your PC to
configure the serial port.

If you are installing the printer through a USB connection, select the
USB Connection from the list of ports, then click OK. To complete
the USB connection, follow the instructions provided in the
VisiMate™ Specialty Printing Systems User’s Guide
.
For any of the PosterPrinter™ Systems, the print driver ships on the
disk that accompanied your printer. You can also download any driver
from the Varitronics® website at http://www.varitronicsystems.com. For
information on installing PosterPrinter™ System print drivers, refer to
the documentation that accompanied your printer.
